Zombie Attacks Rise Globally


According the the Whitehouse, reported zombie attacks continue to rise at an alarming rate. Undead assaults are occuring at an unprecendented rate globally. The home Office has increased it's monitoring of airports, docks and borders, in an effort to stem any infected entering the country.

The CDC acknowledged incident levels are climbing at an "alarming rate". USCB Professor of necro-mortosis studies Lyndon Backer warns that "perhaps due to the spring thawing of much of the country, we are seeing a return of zombie attacks. Many infected undead have recently resurfaced as they emerge from a frozen state."

Government comment on this has been muted, "We continue to monitor the situation" is all a spokesperson for the Whitehouse would say at todays press conference.

At a Whitehouse press conference today, US Secretary of State John Kerry made an off mike comment to a Washington insider. He was quoted as saying "What we are facing is a potential zombie holocaust." This was an apparent reference to the huge rise in worldwide zombie incidents reported since March.
