RB-47 Chases Powerful UFO
On July 17, 1957, an American Airlines commercial aircraft took
evasive action to avoid a collision with a UFO. An Air Force RB-47
reconnaissance aircraft tracked the UFO for several hours both with
radar and with an ALA-5 Pulse Analyzer. The chase started in Mississippi
flying west to Texas and then north to Kansas. The UFO pulse train was
at the 3,000 megacycle envelope for duration of two micro seconds, with a
repetition rate of 600 cycles a second. The power generated by the UFO
is estimated to be equivalent to the electric power needed to run a
small city. Strange signals were monitored on 4827.69 GHz and 4827, 29
GHz which may tie to the craft.
