Ok, my fb friends, here we go: Today, on Fox News, it was reported that 15,000,000 young men from 16 to 24 were either out of school or unemployed, in this country. This turns out to be 15% as well and says nothing about young ladies! So, what a wonderful time to discuss my suggestion re: two years service being required of all men and women after the age of eighteen, unless they voluntarily join the Air Force, Navy, Marines or Coast Guard. Also unless they turn eighteen during their senior school year, at which time they enlist within thirty days of graduation. They take eight weeks of basic training to instill physical strength, mental fortitude, confidence, self-respect, respect for others and their property and last but not least, discipline. The remainder of their time is spent learning a trade, peculiar to their aptitude tests taken upon enlistment. They will not be deployed; service time will be spent in the US, in it's entirety! Pay will be $150.00 per month the first two months and upon completion of basic, raised to $250.00 per month.No phones, no smoking and no cars during the two years. Visitation from family only, during Sunday afternoon until 6:00 PM. To qoute a DI that I experienced ----"Dedicate your soul to your Lord 'cause your posterior is mine!" And that's 24/7, too. You wont get rich but you will be occupied and repaired for utilitization. You will be fed, have a roof over your head and transportation will be furnished as needed. Walk on, my firends!
